  I felt like I was struck by my muses today and hurriedly took a bath, got dressed and went out.
  
  Confidence, I thought. My MP3 player hanging on my waist, my gigbag lying on my back and my headphones wrapped around my head, I felt good. I wanted to compose something, it doesn't have to be a finished piece. Just something I could start with at least, that'll do. Mica's voice filled my ears when I walked to the riverbank. It's one of the calming places I can think of, and the weather seemed to be by my side.
  
  I didn't have time to eat. I wasn't hungry yet anyway. And I think I went out like light last night when I got to bed. Not very productive, no. Today will be different.
  
  And so, it was. Almost too different. I was striding like normal on the footpath when suddenly a woman -- chestnut hair and eyes colored like the sky -- in a car drove up to me and asked if I needed a ride. I was slightly taken aback by her sudden kindness and maybe a little confused, asking her if we'd met before. She fidgeted before introducing herself. Kiyomi was her name. Apparently she had already seen me once at the music shop. Was she the same girl my friends were talking about?
  
  It seemed rude to refuse and she looked like she meant no harm, so I accepted her offer after a brief introduction. I asked her to drive us to the riverbank. She looked bewildered by this and so does most of everyone.
  
  She drove us there, nevertheless, and we made small talk along the way. Favorite artists, tastes in music and all those things. I don't remember the last time I've had a calm and normal conversation with another person — talking normally with my friends feels like a miracle I won't be getting any time soon.
  
  I'm not sure if I'm right but ever since I got in the car, Kiyomi's been a little fidgety. Even more after she asked me about my intimate relations. I decided to ask her to come with me to the riverbank if she had time. Thankfully she did, even opening the door for me to get out of the car.
  
  Our time was short, but one would tell she's a kind person; giving me flowers, sudden, bashfully delivered compliments, and the ribbon for her hair. I'm holding it right now as I'm writing this.
  
  Kiyomi's a lovely mystery. I can't help but feel bad for her whenever she did the little good things for me, a mere stranger. I don't think I'm deserving. Though I did have fun today. I won't forget her.

  I went to the music café with my friends. They kept bugging me to go with them. It's been a while since we've gone, so they didn't at all fail to expose their excitement. They pretty much knew it was my day off too. Since we arrived the place, I thought to enjoy the day and maybe scan through new albums. It was about time to update my playlist for the week.
  
  I was doing my own thing when they got hyped all of a sudden before starting to bother me.
  
  "A potential wife was just here," they told me.
  
  Jeez, these guys. They're not even being indiscreet. They should know more than to bother people. I'm fine with them but not the same can be said for anyone else. I only have one of them on my side who's thinking logically at this rate. I feel sorry for the lady; must've been uncomfortable. I wonder if I can get to apologize properly in their stead? Not that I saw how she looks like.
